Post subject:  Frankinlift and Spacers?? or Frankinlift and Clevis??

I just got my Frankinlift this summer and it has settled. I loved it when i first got it. but now i want it bigger

but....

I dont want to spend 3 grand on a whole new suspension system by Jeepin Al's

I also want bigger tires maybe 31's or 32's (I have 30' BFG A/T KO's)

so can i put spacers on a frankilft or could i install a clevis lift how big do they go and where can i get one

I really dont want to sacrifice the handling

It already looks pretty high :D You can do a clevis lift, all clevis list is two or three conduit nuts that you put under the strut. You can buy them at any hardware store really cheap. Just make sure you don't get UBJ contact. Oh I haven't hears about OME HD springs settling that much at all, did you take actual measurements when you put the lift on and now?

They settle not so much from the spring but from the Daystar puck, unless you have Jeepin by Als upper arms you will have some problems with the upper ball joint hitting if you go to far with a clevis lift. Its not hard to put two or three in and then have or try to have it aligned again. If you cant get it aligned then take one out or so

OK, tell me why 31's or 32's won't fit? I had a Franky in my '06 with an extra set of rear isolator to even it out and ran 235/85's (with trimming up front  ). I don't see why you couln't do that w/o a clevis. Now if you do a clevis, you are probably limiting your travel, and as recomended above, make sure you don't have UBJ contact. You are also extending the CV angel beyond what AllJ had intended (which might just cause you some problems in the future...)
