Help out please!

Alright everyone... you all do a great job helping us pick out things to purchase, so my question to yall is...

i am going to purchase a L.E.D. third brake light.
should i buy this one, platinum smoke

or

purchase this one, crystal clear

and install it as it is,

or purchase this one crystal clear
and purchase a red film to put on it to keep the red brake light theme?

Do you have standard rear tail lamps ? if so the red film might be a good idea. Or if you've got tinted windows the smoke may look good ,and you could either buy smoked rear tail lamps to match or lightly tint your originals yourself.Remember to only use a light tinted laquer if you do it yourself as it may invalidate your insurance if it's too dark .Seen those 3rd brake lights my self and they look real sweet,problem is we cant get tinted aftermarket tail lamps over here so i wouldnt be able to match up. Oh and remember when your fitting it dont go too tight fastening it to the car,i remember reading on here somewere that someone had rust around the 3rd brake light because of over tightening.

That sure is a lot of money just for a third brake light. I can think of a lot of other things that would be better spent on, but that's just me.

Ignoring price, I like the Platinum one.

i won't have to spend a dime on it, b/c i have some "free" money
i think i'll just get the platinum one and see if i need to tint it after that.

they make really light red tints don't they?
