| Post subject: | grill insert question |
I just got a set of grill inserts that I am suppose to fasten behind the grill but I can't seem to get my hand down in there where I need to be. How can I loosen the grill enough to get in there? I see one bolt right in the middle in the front that I will try to remove and see if that gives me any leverage to get in but is there an easier way? |

I don't know how different yours is from an '02 but I just use my Torx bit and remove the entire grill front. No big deal, I've had mine off and on so much in the last few months ( Painted Duplicolor Anodized on the insert, then install air intake using PVC and finally removing the entire front facia to install front tow hooks) Not at all difficult and the insert should just snap on into the Grill, from behind and just reinstall your front grill. Here are some helpfull links: http://www.jeepkj.com/forum/showthread.php?t=28672 or : http://www.jeepkj.com/forum/showthread.php?t=26156 Hope this is of some help. |
