Any problems getting the back seat to fold down after moving your seats back? I have to move mine almost all the way forward to lay the back seat down. Not a problem for me since I'm only 5'5" but I have taller friends.

Same here i just pop the headrest off when i have to lay the seat down, no big deal. I still can't understand why they dont build these things so the seat goes back far enough. I mean the seat goes so far forward it is physically impossible for anyone to drive it in that position. :? I'm only 6" and the extra 3" i moved the seat back made a huge difference. Next is heated seats.

also determines how much you recline the seat, further reclined it is, the closer your feet come to the peddle. Some like to sit right up straight and some like a decent incline back. Of course if you recline it, then you have to move it closer to reach the wheel easier lol.

Ya, I just removed those headrests, suckers are annoying and get in the way when camping.

Took me a second to figure it out, had to reread it a bit slower, but yes, what a knee slapper there! LOL

Great info, thanks. My issue is with being tall in the saddle. As it is, it's like I am wearing a baseball cap as I look out the window (roof line being the bill of the cap). Maybe moving back 3" will help. I just don't want to squish the little kiddies back there!

Even full sized adults in the back are comfortable with my stock front seats all the way back, so I don't think a loss of 3" will bother the kiddies too much. This might be a problem if we drove Xterras though. Gotta love Jeep taking the rear passengers possibly being normal-large sized people into consideration and making the ride bearable for everyone.

Amazing how different people are built. Im 6' and my seat is very far from being all the way back. Then again I like to have my knees touch the dash so I can hold myself in the seat. I go a little to fast in the turns.
