No, don't have one and my Mfg. Date is 8/01. First one I've seen.

Have similar on right side cargo area above 12VDC outlet; different shape/size but same color and mesh, different mounting and size.

Would get one too if I knew where, who. Stock Mopar? Haven't asked. On my list next time.

Well I’ll be darn  I’ve never seen one. Off to the junk yard I go. The thing is you can’t just get the net you’ll need the whole inner cover of the door.
BTW my built date tag on the door is gone, had both driver side doors replaced at one time.

09-01 export here, no net.

Aren't we just looking at a DIY mod made by someone? So get a cargo net out of a GMC truck ( for example ) screw that to the inner cover?

It's not in the '02 parts list either.

I thought it was a mod but it seems that the door on JeepJeepster's Liberty is molded inward.

You would think that if that door panel with the net was OEM, it would have at least been on ALL 02 MY unless they changed it mid-production year for some reason. It looks OEM though. I just went out and looked at mine and it looks exactly the same EXCEPT for the net. I have never seen that one before.

Anyway, I like it and I checked the junkyards around here and they told me the closest 02 KJ is in a junkyard in Maine according to their computer.... (I was looking for an 02 bottle jack too) ....so much for that thought. Any year KJ is like hens teeth in junkyards around here for some reason.

I will keep checking every once in a while.

yea, mine is blue. :)

Ive seen them before but figured it was just an 02 thing. Im amazed to see so many people have libertys thats built as early as they were and do not have that.

Here's a stupid question:

what good is that little net going to do? The one on the passenger side of my cargo area holds my tow strap...but really...the way that thing looks like it's designed, if it carries anything of remote substance, it'll sag RAPIDLY. Seems kinda like those elastic straps on 80s-90s GM cars in execution...

It's a great place to store small items like pliers / screwdriver or even your hitch pin. A pair of gloves for those emergancy tire changes perhaps?

After 6+ years this is the first I've seen something like that. I still want it, but not at the expense of my rattle free tail gate now.
