Upper Clevis bolt torque

Upon changing my springs to OME I noticed that the one of my Clevis Brackets is different than the other side. This is the replacement bracket after my accident. The upper bolt is much narrower.

Does anyone know if there is a difference in the Upper Clevis bracket bolt torque from 2002 to later models?

No difference, I have FSMs for both '03 and '05 and they both give the torque as 100ft-lbs.

Thanks, I didn't want to put too much pressure on it. This bolt does not feel like the old one. The larger bolt stops turning quickly and torques out to 100 ft-lbs easily. But the smaller bolt keeps turning like I am going to strip it.

Well I broke it in half. I'm not sure where this bolt came from but it broke well before 100 ft-lbs. I got a temp 10mmx1.5 bolt in there but I am having trouble finding strong 10mm bolts, I don't think that any of these can take more than 70 ft-lbs.

I have a replacement clevis - as you noticed the upper bolt on a replacement clevis is much smaller than the original. 60 ft lbs is about the upper limit. Looks like it was downsized to limit force on strut to prevent crushing.
