Pakk Ratt

http://WWW.pakkratt.com

Quote:
The Pakk Ratt is a must have for all off-road enthusiasts. The Pakk Ratt fits on your spare tire as a combination tire cover and storage area holding all your tools and recovery gear. Even in a complete roll over, anyone can get to your recovery gear and tow strap and aid with your extraction.

The Pakk Ratt spare tire cover features an integrated zipper pouch that neatly organizes all of your recovery gear, tools, and first aid kits. It carries your tow strap around outside spare tire. No more digging for strap when its muddy & dirty. Buckles neatly in place around spare. No more mess inside the Jeep. Stays attached to hitch while on tire cover for quick recovery. When not off road, the tool and gear compartment can be locked to keep your tools and gear secure.

The Pakk Ratt comes in all tire sizes and is manufactured from high quality industrial grade Poly Nylon dyed canvas. The Pakk Ratt comes in an “Off Road” and “Universal” version. The Pakk Ratt also works great on vehicles with interior mounted spare tires and trailer mounted spare tires as well.

You can contact us at 1-888-PAKKRATT or stitchn1@peoplepc.com or visit our Ebay Store!

"Off Road Pakk Ratt" starting as low as $159!

Proudly made in the USA

I wonder if it's available w/out the logo on it? Hate to advertise to the world that I got stuff stored in there.

I went to thier web site. I guess they don't want to sell alot of product as they refer you back to thier eBay store where all the info is crammed into one paragraph. If you try to order online, it asks for all kinds of vehicle info, tire size, etc and then when you are done it doesn't even give you a aprice. (price varies by tire size evidently) But it does ask for your credit card info!

I think I will stick to my tool box. In case of a rollover, the least of my worries is whether I can get to my stuff  Thats why we wheel in groups. I like my stuff inside where it doesn't walk off.
It is a nice use of "negative space" to quote their ebay pitch. It kind of reminds me of the drive bay drawer that I got for my computer, it holds stuff, but mostly I keep my pc tools in a box under the desk and the drawer holds crap like loose change and clutter. That said, I wouldn't mind seeing one up close.

i had something like that i made when i had my 95' grand cherokee.but my spare was in the jeep. my mom is great at sewing custome stuff so she made the tire cover and put a pocket like that on it for my maps, manual,...etc...i could make that for a whole lot cheaper. i just dont like how some one can just walk up and take it. you'd have to constantly take it off and on, even to walk into a mart for a quick bite on the way to the trail. but just my .02c

Just slip your stock spare tire cover on over it.

I've got a BFG 245/15 on the back now, wouldn't want to hang any more weight on my rear door.

As best I can estimate... 245/15= 16 so I think they should fit an unlifted KJ with minor rubbing

They say it's lockable. Plus, unless someone was aware that it was a pocket, why would they bother?
