Okay, I have searched just about everywhere for the TPMS issue, to no avail, but my new main concern is the engine revving unexpectedly.
I have no idea if the issue is simply bad gas, my ECU is starting to go or what, but I think I have a case of the gremlins. When I’d be driving along the truck is perfectly fine, but it’s when I slow down to a stop, either when I’m slowing down, or when I’m physically stopped, the engine revs up, not much but enough so you feel it (about 600-800rpm), it’s enough to notice it is not me doing it… and even when I’ll be slowing down it’s not the tranny shifting, it only really happens at below 15mph…
The second question regards the TPMS, I’ve taken the truck to jeep 2 times already for this, but randomly as well, the little tire presser sensor light just pops on, no EVIC warning telling me there is something wrong with a tire, just the horseshoe exclamation light, apparently it’s not storing any codes either jeeps run that twice… (the system does still work though, I deflated a tire and it notified me)
Any help on either of the issue would be helpful
A little about my truck:
2004 Liberty Limited, 3.7 V6, typically I use between 87-89 octane (depends on my mood), 98% stock, if you need more info I’ll be happy to post it…

I don't know anything about the TPMS, but the irratic revving may be due to a dirty or malfunctioning IAC (idle air control). The easiest thing to do is take the throttle body off and clean it. You'd probably be surprised how dirty it is.

Check your tire pressure. If it's 10% too high or 10% too low, the "horseshoe" light will come on (it's actually a cross-section of a tire)

so if you're between 30 and 36 psi, it shouldn't come on. Check all 5 tires. If that's not the case, you probably have a sensor on its way to the big dumpster in the sky.

are you running your AC? could that compressor kicking on and off account for the slightly higher RPMs?

As far as i know the tire pressure is fine (iv'e checked all 5 tires), and it does work when the tires are too inflated or uninflated, but the "horseshoe" light occasionaly decides to come on, no real reason, and oddly enough no message on the EVIC, doesnt flash it just pops on and off after a few seconds... not a main concern of mine...

i think tjkoen is right about the dirty IAC, the ac was off the last few times it's happened, i'll have jeep check that out when i go in for my oil change in a few weeks,

one more quick question if anyone knows... if you have the factory infinity system, is there any way to know, other then pulling apart my doors and searching for the inifity amp...

Since you have a 2004 liberty, you can retrain each sensor with the supplied magnet. Got ahead and do that per the instructions in the owners manual and see where that gets you.

Not to sure about the revving thing but it seems like its been covered nicely. Mine does something similar but it only does it offroad. Ive not connected it to being in 4wd, 4low, 2wd, I just know it does it offroad when stopped. Idk if it has something to do with being off chamber alot or what but its kinda strange.
