On Extreme 4x4 a few months ago there was a Jeep Wrangler with a tube hood guard that hinged on the front bumper. Has anyone considered doing this to a KJ? Has anyone done it?

Can you find a picture of what exactly you are talking about? I'm not sure I've seen it.

A grill hoop but hinged?

i've seen several of what i think he's talkin about

most of the ones hinge because they actually curve up onto the hood and are hinged so that you can open the hood

I'd like to get one but I can't picture it with my front bumper setup. Maybe someday. Those work really well with roll cages and stingers.
