It seems like lately when I click a link to view a topic or thread it is taking a little longer to come up than it used to. Is this happening to anyone else? Is our server space close to being maxxed out? Or something else maybe slowing things down.

Yes, it seems to be really slow. I have gotten the "failed to open the page" message a few times because it took so long to load the page. It sucks. I hope it can be fixed.

Glad somebody else has noticed this i thought it was my connection or my pc's playing up.Maybe the site needs some redbull or amphetamines to speed things up.

Yes, it has been slow lately. I have high speed and can go pop
a beer before it finally loads.
Other sites are good to go, so it's not my puter.

Yeppers! It's been slow for me over the last few days. Not sure why, but seems as though there is something wrong with the site and not my computer.

Running DSL here.

Site is powered by this below. Maybe the end of the sprectrum is near?
May be it needs just a little upgrade for all the traffic here?

OK all you computer type people what does all the above mean to me just a lowly person who knows nothing about computers?
Currently I have 3 computers running in the house,
my home computer
my office (state owned ) computer
my wifes working off of wireless

so home shows 5187/ 636/40 ms ping distance 50 miles
work I would assume should be about the same but shows 5145 / 639 / 36 ms ping 50 miles
didn't check the wifes
I have AT&T DSL if that matters and all are hooked into the one internet connection

Tom, all this is a measure of speed of your connection. The site sends a small packet of junk to you PC via the internet and times how fast it takes to get there, and how long it takes to get back. In your case in the alloted time it was able to send 5,187 bits of info, and receive back 639 bits. The dif in time between the computers is minimal, and is probably due to a difference of CPU speed and RAM.
