If anybody is looking for the front skid plate for the 2005 to 2007 KJ, it has been combined with the front skid plate for the KK. I ordered one today, and I was told that it was in stock in Toronto. I should have it by Friday next week. All of the other skid plates are still available for the 2005 to 2007 KJs. They are also in stock. I ordered those as well and they are shipping out of Vancouver, I am picking them up tomorrow. The new part number for the front skid should be 82210769. This is the number on my invoice from my Canadian dealer, I am not sure if this is the same number for the U.S. I wish I could be more sure of the number, but the invoice does not have descriptions, I am going by price. I will confirm the number Saturday. Canadian price was $107 For those that have the earlier KJs, they have discontinued all skid plates for those. If these are still available in Canada, and the new front skid is back in inventory, I cannot see why they would not be available in the U.S. |

I checked with Chrysler today and the new part number for the front skid is 82210769. This is for all of North America. The front skid plate also ships out of the US for Canadian customers right now, until they build up stock I guess. |

I've got a complete set sitting in my garage that I just got from JParts.com. In stock, no waiting. Had them in 3 days. Now I just need to install them! ![]() BTW, $270 US for the set of 4. |

I wanted to go through JParts, until I saw this on the shipping section of their website; At this time we are unable to ship to P.O. Box, APO/FPO and International addresses. I paid $424 Canadian including taxes, for all 4 skid plates through the dealer. Ouch. At those prices I wanted to go with Skid Row, but the shipping to Canada for all four was around $200 alone. The skids themselves were another $910. I have the gas tank skid on right now, the Trans and Transfer Case skids are in my office waiting. The front skid is on a truck somewhere. Speaking of gas tank skids, did anyone have problems tightenting the front passenger side bolt?? It is directly above the exhaust pipe and I have to use a hand wrench to tighten it. There is now way to get a socket in there. I still do not have it all the way in, that is going to take a longer wrench than I have right now. |
