For the last 4 weeks or more one of my front brakes is making a swush swush swush sound as I come to a stop. It's as if the pad was uneven and making the sound as the disc was rotating around to that spot on the pad. So, take it in to a brake shop, pads are pefect, they did a little shaving on the machine to even it out just in case, said the discs are fine and the pads have a lot of life left. Anyone else have this noise? |

Might be one of the turning shafts on the vehicle you are hearing while you slow to a stop. swoosh noises aren't a real issue. Only noises that sound like metal on metal cause me to worry. |

Thanks Sleeve, that's what the brake dude said about metal on metal. I know it's brake related because it stopped for a few days after they sheened the pads down a little. Wait until it breaks more to fix it I guess. The brake dude said it wasn't dangrous so I keep on truckin'. |
