Since I didn't see a L.O.S.T. Hawaii club, I was wondering if many other members have had the chance to take this fun drive 52 miles, w/ 620 curves and 46 one lane bridges. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Road_to_Hana
Unfortunately, I only had a rental car ('08 Chevy Cobalt) but I did see a few XK's a bunch of JK's on the trip. I think it would have been a lot more fun in a Cooper Mini or Honda S2000 convertible though. I think even a JK would be a bit of a handful and a chore driving a manual. But it was a fun epic drive and if you ever get the chance I would strongly recommend it even though it will take at least 2.5+ hours each way depending on how many sights you stop to see.

Good for you! I just did that drive last month, in a rented XK. Been wanting to do it for a long time. This should probably go in Off-Topic, though. I'm sure someone will move it. Did you go all the way to Kipahulu?

Been on that scenic drive many many times (lived on Maui 21 years). I try to leave and return very early to miss all the tourists that drive so slowly to enjoy the views. Where I work we go there at least every 2 weeks.
Aloha
