I think i may need a new front strut. I have the "OME" ones that came with rusty's lift and are about 2 yrs old. Can I get a rancho 17505 for one corner and keep the other side with the "OME"? I know it is the better idea to replace both at the same time, but just wanna check what the good word is from everyone. |

I would say it would handle sort of funky, one side used/more miles and also maybe valved a little different so I would really replace both. esp with having an OME against the Rancho then |

Just pony up and buy a pair of Rancho's, at least they have a lifetime warranty. I'm riding on a "free warranty replacement set" now, and when they go I'll get another free set |

well I called daystar to get a replacement set of the rubber bushings that go at the top of the assembly, between the strut plate and washer. the bottom one looked like it had torn, so I originally thought that was the problem, but just thought maybe it was the strut too. Anyway, the guy at daystar just asked for my name and addy, then said they will send them right out. Didn't ask for a payment or anything!!! |
