Post subject:  ARB Install Directions

Ok, so about 2 weeks ago I found the PDF on how to install a ARB bull bar on the 2002 KJ...however since then I can not find the darn thing. Anyone know where is it, I have done search after search and nothing. I think it was here on this site but I could be mistaken. It has a break down of all you had to remove and the install.

Xodius, did you get an ARB? I saw somewhere else that you were getting a winch. Things are getting serious huh?

8) I have no comment at this time :D

However, be sure to check any posts by me during this coming weekend...perhaps sooner but most likely this weekend.

As for the winch...well, that time that I got stuck and it took me a few hours and nearly all my water to dig out was enough for me. I know you should not go out alone but 99% of the time we do so a little extra insurance is not a bad thing. :)

Also my wife thinks I am totally addicted to my jeep now :) In her defense...I do talk about it...a lot.

I am one that goes it alone often. Heck I never even joined a Jeep club till 2002. I have been wheeling alone since I got my first vehicle back in 1980. I still do not see anything wrong with it if you are prepared. A winch is a good thing.........................

Thank you kind sir.

Kirk,
I almost stopped by last Thursday, I had a seminar at the JW Marriot but what I thought was a simple question for the instructor ended up taking the whole hour for lunch to answer. Hopefully sometime soon I will cruise on by and harass you :)

Do stop by sometime! I am at the Summerlin store every Saturday night and the Green Valley store every Friday night. I alternate Thursdays at each (you would have caught me there last Thursday for sure).

If you ever want some company on one of your solo trips give me a shout. I go out alone a lot too. It doesn't need to be too hard core, I just like excuses to get off the pavement.

hehe will do. I know we are not going out this weekend do to a addition to my KJ  but the following weekend I was talking to the wife about heading out toward Lake Mead for some caching and see if we can find any geodes. The guide says it is a 6 mile hike but I think we should easily be able to reduce that to around a mile if we are creative :D

Here is a link to the site with the trial I mentioned...

Then again perhaps it would be better to wait for the winch just in case. A few weekends ago we ran into some other cachers and we were amazed at how quick they were. Nearly every cache was a jump out run to the cache sign log and run back to truck. I looked at my wife and said...you think they go a bit too quickly? And she said "Hell ya, you need to enjoy the outdoors too, if you are going ot be that quick stay in town!" LOL.
