I have seen several threads about the lack of transmission dipstick on the 07 models. I am one of those unlucky souls without the dipstick. So, does anyone know if the dipstick from an 05 or 06 will work for the 07's? What about the dipstick from an 02-04? There just happens to be someone local that is parting out a rolled Libby and though I might pick one up for mine. Along with a Class 3 Hitch, and trailer wiring harness, and...

I don't really want to buy that special gage from Miller.

Is the dipstick different for 42RLE vs 45RFE?

You can put a dipstick from a KJ with the 42RLE trans,you can not use one for a 45RFE.
