I was able to tap into the light plugs behind the panels, stick the LED lights on with 3M tape and SHAZAMMM, let there be light. It's so awesome. I ordered some LED strips which I will use for the rear seating area (will use as dome light). It's not great in the pic but it's nice and bright and crisps white.

THANKS!!
is that my problem, I have them hosted on shutterfly? Maybe I'll try photobucket next time.
Anyway, the yellow light strips on my boat are gonna be like that as the dome in the Jeep but in white. It's a flexible strip with 3M tape as well so I'm hoping it'll stay put, if not, I'll install them on the pillars.

tape is a wonderful thing LOL
They put really great tape on the lights cause they are used for underwater applications so they're waterproof as well.

got them from http://bluewaterled.com/
You'll notice alot of boat applications but guys are using these for whatever they can come up with...there is a truck bed package listed there too....I bet if enough of us order they'll have a Jeep KJ package in no time LOL
The ones I put in are listed as livewell lights.
I'll post pics of the 12 strip in white when I install them...maybe next weekend.
I have plans for the brake lights (lower part with no bulb, the reflector) stay tuned

darn near lit up my whole basement LOL
those are nice...I won't be doing it THAT fancy. Those are too expensive for me right now.
Looks great though! LEDs are the best thing since light bulbs! ( I was gonna say sliced bread but everyone says that) hahaha

for those of you who are wondering, the Amp draw on the strips is .027 per led. I have 6 leds per side.
