Just about everyone has heard of Trailready and their front and rear bumpers. Do a search. You will find many articles covering the company and their bumpers. Good luck if you plan to find one....I mean buy one. Sell your house and first child also.

Actually Darby had Trailready front & rear on his 1st KJ
someone else had one - but he had a 05 and Trailready didn't really match - it was a long thread - I'll post it if I can find it.

thanks for the links, I see that gap, I just emailed them ,lets see if they get back to me . The website has been updated and it states they re started fabrication again. I love the ARB but I just cant deal with the oversize bull bar. I got a crazy guy in the neigborhood that just installed an ARB on a Stock KJ :( :( the front end is dragging,, but anyway I looked at it close to see if the Bar can be cut down, lowered and re welded. I have a welder in the family I have to see what he has to say.
thanks again.

I originally was going to go with TR's F/R bumbers. This was in '04 and at the time I was stationed at Ft Lewis WA(about 3 hours away from TR),I went to there place to look at there SFA KJ they where selling(only $26,000).I asked them about there bumbers for the KJ and they said they would not build me the bumbers, though I could buy there SFA KJ and swap those on.I said &^% you and bought a ARB.

Oh and seeing how the TR bumbers mount I wouldn't recommend them to anyone, they mount just like the rockstar bumbers(not safe in my opinion).

They are a 3 peice design and you can not mount your spare tire on the swing gate anymore either with the rear TR bumber.

Darbys is the whole reason I am where I am today, one look at his and I was hooked at doing mine

Then after maybe 20 emails/ phone calls etc to Trail ready and getting 20 different answers I gave up on them, was told in a month, maybe never, they had three in stock and ready to ship, OK whats the price, well we are not sure, went on for 6 months and I gave up!

Do like their style of bumper esp, most did not like the rear tail light guards ( Darbys did not have them ) but I liked the looks of them, made it look meaner

Gentlemen, thanks for the input, it really is a good looking and functional front bumper, the rear if I was to change mine I would go with RL as a matter of fact when I replace the front the RL rear will be next. I would like to see RL come up with a winch ready front for the 02's. As I said earlier I emailed them Ill see what they have to say. Thanks again, appreciate your help.
