I am having problems when i shifting into Part-Time and 4Low All time seems to be working fine, when i shift it in it sounds like its not engaging right and is slipping out whenever the tires let go anybody ever have a problem like this? Easy Fix?

Take a look at the T-Case shifter linkage, look for worn bushings or obvious signs of damage or bends. Also check the tranny/t-case mount and make sure its not broken (if it is it will allow the assembly to move and possibly change the shifter selection).

If there are no problems in any of those areas, and you are sure you are getting the shifter into the proper location (you may want to play around with it a little when shifting in those two problem areas and see if just "wiggling" in the area gets a better engagement), then you may need to have the case cracked open and see what may be wrong with the shift fork and or mating gears.

You might also try putting the tranny in nuetral before shifting if you haven't already.

yah ive done the neutral shift but its like weird cayse sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt and even when it does go in it slips back out again and makes that plasticy grinding sound when the tires start to slip
