Does anyone tow their KJ? I have a 28' Class C motorhome and instead of driving it and having the wife follow me in the Jeep, I'm going to put a towbar on it. Thinking of a Blue Ox Towbar with the hidden mounts. Any input? Gas is way too expensive to keep doing this all summer this year. I have used a dolly with it before (rental), but, am thinking a towbar with the hidden mounts may work better. I could maybe even use the hidden receivers for the towbar as recovery points with a slide in shackle?

I know I've seen KJs being towed, just looking for feedback. Motorhome Gas Mileage = 8MPG + KJ = 16MPG == WAIT, That's 24 MPG ! Maybe it is cheaper to drive them both camping!

I used to tow mine behind my 38' diesel motorhome. It's very simple to do. Just put the gear shift in PARK and the transfer case in neutral. Sounds wrong but it isn't. I have every you need including a device for the brakes on the KJ. Nothing hooks directly in the KJ brake lines. It's called a Brake Buddy. The only problem is it's for a 2005 KJ. I don't know if it would work on yours. I also used it for front tow points.
