Anyone know if it's OK to run without the front driveshaft? I need to order a new one - mine is thumping along with losing grease, Trying to get the correct measurements for a tom woods shaft.. Thanks Adam

I had an issue with my front shaft and my transfer case, and ran without the front shaft for almost a month. No problems

I ran without it for about a week. There is no problem running without it, nothings open. You'll just have 2 dead ended flanges.

Then you need to find a shop to cut off the old one, weld the new one on(has to be perfect,no room for to short or to long on the KJ's front drive shaft),and then balance it.All said and done you will pay more then a brand new OEM one or a Tom Wood's driveshaft.
