Page 143 of the 2004 Owner's manual states "To avoid damage to the roof rack and vehicle, do not exceed the maximum roof capacity of 150lbs (68kgs) or 65lbs (29.5kgs) on Renegade models." But I'd use it anyway for what u have... |

I know several instances on here that have stated that if you distribute the weight correctly, then youcan put quite a lot of weight up there. On my blackwidow roof rack, I have had my brother, ~160lbs, and another 100lbs of camping equipment for about a mile or so, and no bugding... The reason he was on there was that I was prooving to him that it could handle a couple hundred pounds!!! |

I really don't know all the details, as I got it late yesterday and I have to inflate to check it out, only know it has 4 chambers, 3,8 mt, max 25hp and it is made in China. |

I've never dealt with promarine, so i cant say. but alot of the lesser expensive chinese boats (such as aquastar) were nothing but problems, customers were developing leaks in the first month, more than half of them were traded in for something such as zodiac, or AB. also the plastomer vinyl construction (PVC) material the boat is made of doesnt hold up well against salt water and UV rays. if you do develop any problems, shoot me a PM and Ill be happy to help you out. I can probably still get materials for a good deal. also what type of floor does it have? |

A friend has one for two years without a problem with a 9.9 Evin, and the importers has repair kits and service, so with all these in mind I bought it, it has plywood floor with alum frame, but there was a full alum floor option. Came with one replacemente valve, a tool to replace it, and a punkture repair kit, it was nice that the floor has a belt and a plastic blanket for the tank placement. This WE I will inflate and post some pictures. The summer is gone so these stuffs are far more cheap now, thanks |
