How come when i PM somebody it takes a half a day or so before it leaves my outbox and sometimes it never leaves? World's slowest email system?

How come when i PM somebody it takes a half a day or so before it leaves my outbox and sometimes it never leaves? World's slowest email system?

It's in your outbox until the recipient reads it. So If it takes a day for that person to log in and read it, then it will be in your outbox from a day. |

okay, so if its in my outbox that means its already sent and if its in my sentbox that means that its already been read? |
