Do any of you Cherokee guys know of any projects concerning placing a Vortec 4300 in a Cherokee?

Advance Adaptors sells a kit to weld in mounts for a YJ Wrangler. Because it is weld in, it may lend itself to being used in a Cherokee application. It retails for $126.36 and it's part number is 713001-S. They make a good product. They also carry kits to adapt the Chevy 4.3V6 and small block V8's (it's the same block minus two cylinders) to many Jeep transmissions. Just reuse the harness that came with the V6. Painless Performance may be able to make a new harness up to make use of your old gauges.
