| Post subject: | Blown T-Case? |
So I was trying to get up over a snow bank last night to get into my apartment complex, and I couldnt do it in 4hi, so naturally I went to put the kj in 4lo right? wrong. something happened and I have no idea what it was, but now she's stuck in 4hi and the shifter for 2hi-4hi-N-4lo moves freeley. Does anybody have any idea what either I did wrong or what happened. And how would I fix it? I just hope my t-case isnt completely shot. Thanks. |

I't probably the cable disconnected. When the dealer replaced my dead transmission just outside the 36K warranty expiration, they forgot to connect the cable so when I got it back and went to try 4 wheel out it did nothing...5 minutes later the tech hooked it up right and I left. |

The linkage is probably disconnected, pop your head under and see where it came off, reattach, problem solved. |

Most likely this is your problem. Ive read about it happening a few times but Im not sure how you go about fixing it. Not sure if I read a follow up on the old threads that talked about it. hahaha, sure wish I could let a jeep sit over night and it fix itself. |
