So I recently bought a house and as I was moving boxs into my Jeep I noticed a few young guys getting out of a bronco, as they walked by I noticed on of them point to my libby and say "thats the truck I should of got", then when he noticed I was loading boxs he ran over and started asking about my tires, going on about how awsome the KM2s look, etc. I think they really liked it when I fired it up and my super 44 rang out as I drove off.... I don't hear compliments about my KJ much, I get the odd stare from other KJ drivers, and a few times I get bigger trucks sizing me up, but almost never people running over to chat with me. I must say, I have a stronger love for the KJ now lol. And I CANT wait till I get my roof rack and CB radio back on board! Which may be very soon, since I might be out of my lease this month, and the mortgage doesn't start till Sept 1, and since it was a private sale with foalks I know I was allowed to move in right away, so that means I may have 2 months of some big cash :) Who knows, maybe a lift haha!

Congrats.. and yeah I know how you feel on the whole other KJ owners looking at you weird.. I mean I have a custom rear gate.. no holes at all so it looks like I've never had a spare tire there.. I know I'm gonna get even weirder looks when I decide to do my "Wolf" mod.. that is going to be fun! now only $2999.99 to go because I found a penny on the floor!!!

Another reason to get some exercise.....park the farthest away and out in the open so others can oogle and drool at your KJ and ask questions when you walk up to it to leave. I have had that happen a few times.

I thought about the custom rear gate but then comes 2 problems, 1) the bumper would have to be replaced so I don't have that curve for a tire, and 2) where do I put the tire, if it goes on the roof I loose mpg, and also the ability to store up there, if I go inside I loose storage.

Just the other day I had a guy pull up next to me at a stoplight in a big, lifted Ford truck and told me he liked what I had done to the Liberty and that they should all look like mine! 8)

How did you know that? What are you Canadian, Eh!

The problem is the snow melts and we no longer have igloos to live in so we have to build stick forts.

haha, thanks for the welcome guys. I got a bit "lost" there for a while, being faced with a job scare and a health scare all at the same time. Right now I'm working towards the health, the job is better than ever, and as I mentioned I bought a house!
