I was just wondering if anyone here had a TrailReady front KJ bumper? And if do how do you like it? Fit and finish, look, etc etc.

Thanks

some one bought one for an 02-04 and tried to make it work on a later KJ , with limited success, fit and finish has seemed good but they are not many around. I had heard they were not going to make anymore, never were easy to deal with. I tried for several months back in late 04 early 05 to buy one and never really got a good answer back.

Darby had them on his previous KJ, then someone on here bought one and it didnt fit right so they had to make it fit, and they are really expensive, IMHO your better off with ARB

That was me :) the story was that Jeep sent them an 05 so they could make one for that model year. turns out they were sent an 04 and did realize the difference. When i spoke to the owner he said they weren't big sellers any ways and he is not gonna advertise them for the 05+ models but still carries them for the 04 down. now again that was over a year ago.

I spoke to them about 3 months past. I think January, they had from 04 down, mine is a 02, but the price, forget it. 1350 shipped. Its a good looking bumper, but when the time comes, I will choose ARB.

Yeah I wanted there F/R bumper also when I was stationed a Ft Lewis, actually went to there place to look at there SFA KJ they where selling.I asked about the bumpers and they basically said "go f#$k yourself",actually they said by the SFA KJ and you can have them  .Bought a ARB the next day for $600 from 4WheelParts in Tacoma, then later bought the RL rear bumper.

They were pretty hard to deal with, I used them about 5 years ago for a front bumper for my TJ. ordered it and they said no problem, find out 3 months later when i am still waiting for it, they have never made the bumper i ordered for the TJ only a CJ. When it finally came, it was nice and has worked real well but just took a long time.
