I was searching the net for some CJ tech/builds and found this sight tube someone made for the dana 300.

So then I decided to look to see if someone made one for the NV231 and found this thread on JU

Thinking of doing it to my t-case next time I need to change the fluid. Easy way to check the level and condition of the fluid. What do you think???

That is a pretty darn good idea. Especially if you have skids...then you shouldnt have to worry about yanking that tub off. I am curious though...where would you tap to install it?

That is neat. The t-case is tucked up there pretty good and with a skid it shouldn't get snagged up or anything. I have been through some serious mud and the t-case seems to stay pretty clean compared to everything elce.

I saw that done before somewhere. I think I would like to try that. Anyone know what size and where to get the fittings??

I looking into it but I too am unable to locate the proper fittings. I'm ready to give up.
