--Today...I wish you a day of ordinary miracles

A fresh pot of coffee you didn't have to make yourself.
An unexpected phone call from an old friend.
The fastest line at the grocery store.

A good sing along song on the radio.
Your keys right where you look.

I wish you a day of happiness and perfection-little bite-size pieces of perfection that give you the funny feeling that the Lord is smiling on you, holding you so gently because you are someone special and rare. I wish You a day of Peace, Happiness and Joy.

They say it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them, but then an entire life to forget them.

Send this phrase to the people you'll never forget.
It's a short message to let them know that you'll never forget them.

If you don't send it to anyone, it means you're in too much of a hurry and that you've probably forgotten your friends.

Take the time!

Wishing you the very best for 2006
Love you all,
Sharon and Dave

Merry Christmas!!! Remember that as you all look around the room either last night(Christmas Eve) or today, the greatest gift you have is right in front of you...all your loved ones.

For those of us that are kinda solo this holiday season, I'll remind them that God put you here for a reason and the world could not be any closer to perfect without you being here.

All our love,

the Jaramillo family

I also want to add to this thread to have people not forget about the ones that aren't with us this year.. Either they passed away (as in my mother in law, she passed away this year of cancer) or going over seas (I have friends in both Iraq and Afganistan)... Merry Christmas to our Troops over seas.. May they and their buddies come home in 2007...

Best Wishes,

Ben and Mary

Ben, I really hope they don't keep me here for more than another year! Just giving you a hard time. I should be home, thankfully, around the end of Feb or beginning of Mar 2006. Anyway, thanks for the thoughts and prayers, I'll see y'all on the trail in the upcoming months. Also, as a special request, could you keep our families in your thoughts during the holiday season? They are the ones that are paying the real price of our being over here.

Sorry about that.. I ment 2006.. I have 2007 on my mind because that is when I am going to be putting on the lift to the Libby... Jeep thoughts got in the way...

Yeah.. My one buddy in Afganistan should be home by Sept or so... The one in Iraq will be home sometime this spring and then he might be stationed in Germany... The sad thing is both of them are in the reserves... I had another buddy that is in the reserves and he was going from Germany, Iraq, then Afganistan then back again to Germany for like 6 months.. I thought it was strange.. He said he couldn't talk about it.. So I didn't ask anymore questions...

I know.. I grew up with my grandparents when all 3 of their sons went over to Vietnam.. My brother and 2 friends of mine served in Desert Storm.. I always try to keep the home fires burning...

Take care and Merry Christmas

Ben
