im driving to AK wednesday to pick up a GSXR for one of my friends, its about a 12 hr drive. if Im only towing a light trailer and bike do i need to turn OD off? how bad will that effect my milage?

turn it off in the city and once ya rollin and up to speed click it over to OD and when ya get it on hills and what not where you know or think it's going to downshift, click od off so that it doesn't try to shift back and forth between od
