Hey guys...I was under there today doing stuff for the first time in a LONG time and I noticed my passnger outer tie rod was soaked with power steering fluid, almost to the point of dripping.

Any idea what this means? Imminent doom, I assume. Just looking for confirmation. I'll drive this thing into a wall before I replace that rack.

Clean it off good and top the PS fluid off.

Once clean, you can check where the leak is at if it continues to leak.

Passenger side rack seal is leaking which in turns fills that boot that protects the inner tie rod, which in turns will leak out of that boot and track down to the outer tierod end.Time for a new rack.

Thanks for the replies guys, I figured it was a bad rack. There's no question about where the PS fluid is coming from.

Those are pretty much a b*tch to replace, aren't they?
