Hey all just wondering if any one has any opinions on where to get mopar skids and front hooks (best price). I know all J and other places have better skids but I just want a basic set of skid plates that bolt on easily for the 02 KJ. Checked Ebay not much there, havent called dealership yet (little scared of price there they wanted $179.00 for front brake pads installed). Thanks -Dave.

If you need the front suspension skid, I have brand new one never used in the garage.

And if you wait a couple months, I will have the front tow hooks off too.

Just PM me if interested

www.newmoparparts.com It was $30 less to get my powersteering pump through them. The mopar original tranny skid is in the $30 range and most of the stock skid are quite a bit cheaper then aftermarket. If want a strong skid go for after market like All J's or Kilby, if you want cheap, then go mopar.

When I got my Mopar tranny skid, the dealership was the cheapest place to get it, because shipping is free. And even the Mopar skids are heavy--you may end up paying $20-30 just for the shipping. That's pretty steep for a $30 part.

I'd check there first, then spend a few minutes perusing my KJ Parts and Links site (link below).
