I've starting seeing pictures of KJs with Billet style fuel doors. If anyone has an aftermarket fuel door, where did you get it? Can we use the same ones sold for the Wrangler's or should I be looking for a specific size? I've searched all over the Internet and can't find any that say they will fit a Liberty but seeing pictures of Libby's with them installed, they must be available somewhere. I'm looking for a locking fuel door. Thanks! |

JeepinAl has one, I'd PM him. Heck he might sell one at his online store. |

Thanks Joe. I checked his website and didn't see it. I've sent a PM to find out if he sells them or where I can get one from. |

Sorry Guys and Gals, I have been looking but time constraints have kept me from typing! The billet door you see on my KJ is one for a TJ. It is a little small, so I have suggest to those who PM'd me on this subject to try one for a full size Dodge truck. I purchased one of the first covers by (if I remember correctly) SmittyBuilt. The finish wasn't right, and it oxidizers (sp?) very fast, and needs to be polished often. It does not mount flush, it sticks up about a 1/4 of inch. I got the idea at Camp Jeep 2003. Along with my hood scoop, 2002+ Mustang GT scoop. Pictures will follow, I hope! Happy New Year! Al |
