Post subject:  ride height differences?

i have been searching on these boards as to why my ride height is different on my jeep. the passenger side sits higher than the drivers side by around 1/2". now some people have said all kjs are like this. i measured a KK and this is true. but are the older kj's like this. i have the frankenlift on my jeep and it sits like this? :?:

i always figured it was a combo of engine and drivetrain to suspension torque, the drivers butt and anything else that tended to be offset loaded

That has always been my take on it. Add to that the fact that the gas tank fill equipment is all on the left side as well, as is the rear cargo door support system.

Hence the reason when anybody asks for "lift height" I always give then that side as the conservative estimate.

ya the difference is not noticeable looking at it, but when you measure it its there. plus its like this with no one sitting in it so i guess ill just forget about it, i just thought something was wrong with my lift or something.
