I swapped my 05 sports seats with 04 Limited leather, power, heated seats. Much more comfortable and adjustable.

Exactly what I was hoping for! Beats trading in for a newer model!

Thanks!

Thanks
In my opinion, the Limited seats are less comfortable than the Sport seats. If you are going to swap out seats, I definitely would not go with the Limiteds.

Even though they are heated and power adjustable, they just don't sit well no matter what position I put them in.

I have sat in pre'-05 leather seats and they felt much more comfortable initially. I have never sat in the for extended periods of time.

Do it right, just go to a Lamborghini dealership and buy 2 of the 5point racing seats. Better yet, buy a Lamborghini take the seats out and give the rest to me

I've never been in an '05 but we test drove both Sport and Limited '02s before buying our Limited. I don't like leather seats (comes from growing up in Las Vegas... cloth won't burn you when the car has been sitting in the hot summer sun).

The '02 Sport seats were high backs; the Limited were medium back with removeable headrest. The seat shapes and bolsters were considerably different.

We ended up ordering ours to get the 'f' trim package (Limited, but cloth upholstery, non-power) and the seats have been very comfortable even on long trips.

I have leather in mine.....they're fine, but they could use more lumbar support.

The seats in my '03 limited are 10 times more comfortable than the cloth seats in our '06 sport.

Definitely worth the swap!

I'd want to do that so I can adjust it easier.

I don't need the heated part though. Thats just a waste of money in Florida. hah

Look under your seat...should see the connectors for the power sets "just a sittin there." There were power seats out there that did not come with the heaters.

The connectors are not already there for the power seats. The new seat will have an additional plug for the power seat/power & heat.

To add 04 power seats to an 05, you need to do a couple of things:

The drivers seat power adustment will work by simply adding the correct fuse to the fuse panel
You have to swap the seat occupancy module from your 05 seat. The 04 is different, not sure why, but the airbag light wouldn't go out until I swapped them.
The passenger seat adjustment requires power that is usually supplied via a harness that the sport doesn't come with. I just added the two wires. Did this first and lived without seat heat for over a year.
The seat heat requires a full harness between the driver and passenger seat, it can be salvaged, bought or fabricated.

Maybe just duct tape some bean bags in, and call it a day.

Does anyone know if power leather seats from an 03 Renegade would swap into an 06 Sport?

Hmmm? I'll bet that would make those trail rides on 10 ply tires and OME springs a lot easier on the tush
