I don't know if it's just been coincidence every time it has happened or not. This past weekend every time I hit the lock button on my door I heard an audible beep noise. I tried it today and nothing. Was the noise just from someone's car next to mine as they unlocked their car or does the Liberty do this at certain times? It just seems more than coincidence that the noise occurred at the exact moment I pressed the lock button.

The beep is coming from the BCM in the front left corner of the dash. Mine does it as well although I don't notice it every time. Nothing to be alarmed at, the Jeep isn't getting ready to explode or anything

It hasn't done it every time unless I'm just not noticing it every time. IDK. :?

I'm glad I'm not the only one this is happening to - I thought I was going insane for a little while, LOL Mine does it intermitently. I've always wondered why sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't... :?

Yeah exactly. I'd like to know why it only does it at certain times. :?:

Do you have an EVIC? I've noticed a few "beeps" from the BCM since I installed an EVIC.
I've never tried to lock my doors from the interior because my doors automatically lock at 20 kms/hr. I'll try your idea when I get home later this week.

No EVIC here.
