Need help guys. Does anyone know whats underneath the plastic cover strips in the roof gutters? Is it painted roof or a mess of something? Am thinking of taking them off along with the roof bars in preparation for the fitting of my roll cage but not sure. I just don't like the look of plastic on my Jeep!

Also is there a third roof bar fixing point under there? I think I recall someone saying there was?

Just 8 bolts and some vecro holding all that on. Nice painted finish underneath.

03 Freedom with some neat stuff done to it that I learned about here.

Under the factory roof rails is sunk in where the roof skin is bonded to the bodyside panals,it's painted also but looks pretty ugly off if not covered up with something.
