While Liberty sales declined less than 1% for 2005, sales of the Ford Escape plunged over 10%. That leaves the Liberty as the #1 selling Compact SUV in the United States! Summary: Liberty - 166,883 Escape - 165,122 CR-V - 150,219 Equinox - 130,542 |

That means lots of good used parts in the future when all the soccer moms are done with them. Still can't find any at the junk yards yet though |

When you get inside of one... it feels like a P.O.S as well!!!! My buddy had one and it seemed that if you looked at the plastic wrong, it'd crack on you... Only nice thing was the engine was pretty smooth and got better gas mileage. Give me my JEEP anyday!!! |

My friends mom has an escape. We took it wheeling on a tame, stock 4x4 can handle it trail. It got stuck on a blue berry bush. Yes it was the All Wheel Drive model too. My Jeep idled right over the bush like it was nothing (because it was). |

Monday Jan 2, I came across an accident scene. An Escape hit a puddle on a bridge, hydroplaned and according to an eyewitness, went airborne. It landed nose down on a Mitsubishi coupe, rolled onto its roof and came to rest upright. I haven't seen two mangled vehicles like that in a long time but from what I heard, all involved survived. |
