Im just curious as I sit here and read all of the mods and ideas you all have for Liberty. Is this vehicle one of your daily drivers or primary vehicle or is it just for the weekend off roading trips and fun?

Alot of the people on here use moded KJs as their daily drivers, with all the lifts, racks, lights on it. It puts on quite a show sometimes when you come into work and the weather is pretty bad... hehehe!

50k+ Daily driver.

Driven it up to Paragon, PA from NC.
Driven it from NC to South Beach Miami.
Driven it from NC to MI.
Been off roading at Uwharrie and the OBX many times.

Of course, if it was legal, I wouldn't take the paved roads home from work.

Mine is used as a daily driver, but if my wife and I are going someplace together that doesn't necessitate the Jeep, we generally take her car since it gets almost twice the gas mileage.

Daily driver. About 70 miles a day........ 35 to and from work. Wouldn't have it any other way.

I used to have a big 4X4 truck until recently and i wanted to do so much to it, but it was also my primary vehicle and of couse the money thing, didnt seem to have enuff for what I wanted to do. So I was jsut curious.. thanks for all the replys.

Ours is a daily driver that also gets used for play. We do like KW AV8R - if we are going someplace that doesn't require the
Jeep, we use the Sebring which at times gets 40 mpg on the highway.

It's a daily driver (the wife's) but with diesel prices still high, I've parked my Powerstroke and started commuting with her. It's interesting cause we can get the same milage out of the KJ as my truck but at 40 cents a gallon cheaper than diesel.

DD for me too. I drive the moms corolla which gets 34 on the highway whenever i can, And to keep down miles on the jeep. It feels so good to get into my jeep after driving her car for awhile. Im always afraid to get hit by a coal truck in that thing. There would be no mess to clean up, just an oil spot on the highway. :?

Definately mostly daily drivers. Thats the good thing about the KJ, it is really versatile. It incorporates good on-road driving manners with the ability to do some decent off roading. The KJ is soooo easy to get around in parking lots ....

Daily driver. My wife drives it during the week, but it's all mine on the weekends.
For long trips on mountain roads or inclement weather, we take the KJ. All other long trips, we take the Prius (49 average MPG vs 14 average MPG makes a big difference in the wallet!).

I have a 2001 Kia Rio 4-banger that I use to drive to and from work, 115 miles round trip at 37+ mpg. I do drive the KJ when the weather is bad, and on the weekends. My fiance does drive the KJ in the winter mostly to and from work, since her 1998 Mustang is put away for the winter, but she only drives 30 miles round trip.

DD foe show! My last truck was a ford ranger about 3 inches off the gound and rolling black chrome 18's and more mods than i feel like listing. everwhere i went i get asked questions, and get looked at. In my jeep, as it sits now... i get about 65% as much attention. Noone around here has a lifted liberty like mine... and nothing but +++ comments so far, as opposed to some liked my ranger some though it was dumb.

BUT... the lift, mud tires and lights on the roof the 13 mpg sucks for a dd (speaking of which something is up with that MPG).
