 Post subject: front hooks?

so i tried yesterday to install my new front tow hooks and had a little trouble getting the bumper off. is there any way around that. do i need to remove the bumper to get to that area. they didnt come with any instuctions and it looks simple enough. i was able to remove the grill to get to the upper bumper plugs but got stuck on the bottom. i didnt want to break any of the plugs so i figured id ask one you GREAT group of people. any links to info. thanks yall.

Did the hooks come with the u-bolt that the aftermarket mopar hooks come with? if so, you do not need to remove the bumper.

If they are the hooks that came on a liberty stock, then yes, you need to remove the bumper.

You must cut those plastic rivets out. You then need to buy new rivets and a rivet gun for plastic rivets.

it came with a flat bar with two bolts welded to it. that drops in and has a male plug that snaps into a female end that is already on my frame. not so much a U shape. well the info is appreciated. thanks
