Post subject:  Roof Rack Load Capacity
From the manual:

Quote:
To avoid damage to the roof rack and vehicle, do
not exceed the maximum roof rack load capacity
of 150 lbs (68 kg) or 65 lbs (29.5 kg) on Renegade
models.


Anyone know why such a drastic difference? Is it the sunroof on the Renegade?

the renny rails are much thinner... i believe that is what the word on the street is.
or the roof basket is really just plastic... and it is not a real roof rack.
