ok.. snow if flying and the ESP is driving me nuts... i'm looking into pulling the ABS fuse... but havn't yet because of 2 questions i have.

1. Which one of these 3 to pull (see below)
2. I know i'll get ABS and ESP lights on the dash.. if i put the fuse back in will it self diagnose and shut those lights off its self or will i have to get them cleared? i know it self diagnoses its self and shuts off the light with the tire pressure sensor light on the dash but dont know if it will do it for the ABS and ESP

this is what it said in the owners manual.

Interior Fuses

Cavity- 38
Fuse- 10 Amp Red
Description- ABS controller / Shifter Assembly

Underhood Fuses

Cavity- F4
Fuse- 40 Amp Green
Description- ABS Pump

Cavity- F25
Fuse- 20 Amp Yellow
Description- ABS Valve

Just now read the post. When I get home I'll check my '06 shop manuals and see if they have anything about that. Knowing this sight someone out there will post the answer with diagrams and pictures before I get home. :google: gotta love it.

thanks a lot for trying to look.. but i think i found my answer,
pulled the first interior fuse... nothing... pulled the ABS pump fuse.. :BINGO:. no abs or traction control.. completely eliminated. just finished covering up the 3 warning lights on my dashboard with electrical tape :) i'm almost positive it will self diagnose when i put the fuse back in.. perhaps i'll try it in a few days. too fun to put it back in now :pepper:

-sweet new smilies by the way!

Looked in the factory shop manuals last night and when I recovered from my daze reallized all it had was what to do when the idiot lights come on. You have to go to school to be able to read these manuals anyway. :furious:
