I was just on the Detroit Auto Show website.
It looks like Jeep is bringing back the renegade.
It will be between the sport and limited as before.
from the pic it has gray trim and new colors ( Natural( Jeep) green is back as well.
gone is the chrome bezel headlights! it will sport a dark gray bezel that matches the trim.

Needs a lightbar and some bumper mounted fogs; then it would be cool. Otherwise it looks like a regular KK with plastic flares.

why the f#(k cant we at least get a light bar. i hope that isnt an actual picture of it. no renegade badging, light bar or rock rails. the grey flares and bumpers are lame to, the liberator II style hood is "ok" but this overall looks like dodo to me.

Not buying it. All they've done is cut some $$$ by doing away with the plastic chrome grill and putting on unpainted bumpers and fender flares. It's just a marketing ploy....

It needs more. Lights, rock rails, something. It doesn't stand out like the KJ Renny did.

i agree it should have a light bar... and a few newer options... stinks that they FINALLY just came out with new headlights but w.e. i'm happy with mine haha.. i will say this though... the chrome grille is actually cheaper then the painted one... so all those people including me who have the limited editions... all you pay for is looks not actual cost

Looks like normal liberty to me. Definitely needs a light bar, fogs, and something else to distinguish it from other libertys.

I like it so far as I can tell. It could use a few more things like

Light bar on top
better tires than those badyear wranglers
needs a factory lift option to look tougher
needs skid plates either standard or as an option package
A CRD engine option

CRD option is useless.
What they need is a hemi option.

I'd take a CRD over a crappy hemi any day of the week :JEEPIN:
