Noticed it a little earlier tried searching but my search-fu must be weak. Seems when coming to a full stop the suspension feels like it's shifting. Almost like someobody nudged the jeep just as it came to a full stop. Sorry I don't know of any better terms to describe it..

Anyone have any ideas on the cause ?? On my way out to the garage to give everything a good looking over to spot anything obvious. It's an '02 3.7L with 91K miles and I'm fairly sure it's bone stock. In my search I turned up a post suggesting maybe the rear LCA to axle bushing was bad allowing the axle to shift around some but that's the closest I've come to finding anyone with a similar problem......Thanks.

check rear tri link as well, could be the ball joint on it.

Saw the sticky for the front balljoint check but didn't notice anything for the rear tri-link ?? Happen to have a procedure I could use to verify whether it's good or not ?? Looked at all the bushings in the rear nothing seemed out of place. Thanks

ETA: could it be the slip joint on the driveshaft causing this ?? Ran across a few threads in the last few minutes where the symptoms seem like mine......

Crawl under the vehicle and have someone rock the vehicle front to back hard and watch for movement on the upper ball joint. If it is worn, the whole rearend will rock or twist. I replaced the ball joint only to find out that it still rocked back and forth. Then I pulled the cast steel ball joint bracket and discovered the problem. The ball joint pinch bolt must not have been torqued properly from the factory. It was a mess! I ended up plunge milling it out to clean up the hole then made a bushing to drop in and bring the hole back to 21MM. Saved a $140...
