I just rolled over 20,000 miles on my 2007 KJ. When is the best time to replace the factory spark plugs? How were your plugs lookin’ after the first 20,000 - 30,000 miles?

I did mine at 15K just for S&G's I would say that mine could have been done at 20 because of the gap.....

I pulled mine at 19,000 something and they looked ok, the gap was off so I regapped them and it ran so much better. I should have replaced them then but decided to squeeze a few more miles out of them. I am now at 25,000 something and plan on changing them this week.

I always thought plugs were an "every other oil change" kind of thing... they're cheap... why not?

Based on what I’m hearing/reading, I think I’m gonna change my plugs and call it good! Image
