Well its snowing here in Denver today and were I live near the foothills its still snowing really hard. The fiancee works in the foot hills where they get a ton more snow than the city so I told her to take the jeep to work to be safer. She got to work and called me and told me that she LOVES it. In a matter of 2 minutes I learned that....

- 4Hi...is awesome and gave her so much confidence because the Jeep was planted and stable
- sitting up higher made her feel safer coming to intersections
- The road to work wasnt plowed and she felt like a queen just plowing through the fresh snow.

One of the reasons we got rid of my WRX STI was so we could get a car that she could drive in bad weather. I miss my STI but today reconfirmed that it was the right choice. So yeah..."the Liberty rocks."

I Traded my Outback Limited Sedan in for My Liberty. I loved the Subaru, that was my second one. I miss it a little. It was a great car, good looking and drove well in all weather. The Jeep however is just as good or better in the snow with its higher ground clearance and tough 4 wheel drive system. Plus I couldn't take the Outback off road like the Jeep 8)

I just hope The Subie found someone to love it as much as I did.

Now she understands the saying "It's a Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand."

At least you'll be earning lots of brownie points :D

My fiancee wanted us to get a Jeep as well because she always felt really uncomfortable in our old Dakota. She absolutely loves the Jeep because of how stable it is no matter how bad the weather is. :JEEPIN:

My wife always asks to drive when it snows and this year my excuses are "But you just got me the tires I have been wanting forever" and "I have never driven the jeep in this much snow". She loves it but insists on getting a honda pilot which makes no sense to me. The grin she gets when she does get to drive it in the snow warms my heart but that quickly fades when she says I cant wait to get my pilot! And no I dont have the heart to tell her she won't get the same feeling driving that in the snow as she does with the jeep.

the other night we went to dinner and we met each other there. it was snowing like mad out with probably 10 inches of fresh snow. We sat down and she said...

"first let me tell you how much I love the jeep. I feel so safe in it! Its bigger, and there is absolutely no slipping in it, you just feel so safe and secure! I am so happy we got it."

Sooo....I guess a grand cherokee or a commander is in our future..

Speaking of wives, after one test drive my wife informes me that she WILL be driving a commander.(exactly what I want to hear) She wants a pearl white one. (still not a bad situation for the libby guy) I start showing her pics of lifted commanders and accessories. (SWEET) She picks out a set of 22" wheels and rubber bands (She should be sleeping on the couch)
