Care to expand on that though? What makes it "the worst" vehicle? Maybe we can help you out and fix the problem(s).

i beg to differ, my 86 Bucik Century was the worst vehicle I have ever owned. Given to me from my grandmother, purchased new in 86 (before I was born, 87) and had problem after problem. Amazingly it has last through my driving, my younger sister, and my youngest brother is driving it still. And yes, surprisingly, it does not have more than 50K on it!

I have 1970 model vehicles with old worn out parts that hold up to the "crazy driver" that I am. So that is no excuse, I know chrysler can build a good vehicle, I have 250k on my cherokee and it goes through ALOT more abuse than this liberty EVER sees and I have done ZERO repairs to it aside from 1 broken axle that comes with 33's and dual lockers on stock shafts.
Where do I start, I spend ATLEAST $400 a month on parts for this pile. 2 weeks ago the cam sensor went, last week the rack n pinion, this week one of the wheel speed sensors ( atleast I hope its that simple)

In the last year, both front wheel bearings, belt tensioner, electric fan, idler pulley, 2 coils, front brake calipers, rr brake hose, lower ball joints ( before the lift) a rear ujoint, EIGHT window regulators.

The list will keep going.

Best part is there are NO shop sin the area that cna scan the ABS system, there is only ONE dealership in a 50mile radius that cna and they are booking into july already becuase of the vehicles they picke dup when the closed the other dealerships around here So I get to drive it with no ABS, or ESP for atleast a week until they can tell me the exact issue.
Good news is IF it is a sensor the fronts are only $36 each and the rears $11 so it wont be to bad of a fix, with the exceptions fo the $85 diag charge.

It is a really good thing I am capable enough to fix thing smyself on this or it would be a $5000 a month vehicle.

My Range Rover was a $1500 month vehicle, I honestly think you are the first person on here to have that many problems with your liberty :( correct me if i'm wrong, brings a tear to my eye cause I love this Jeep

I have read qiute a few post online about wheel bearings, ESP/ABS issues, LOTS AND LOTS of window regulators, and I found another on the brake hose issue, and post 07 had a recall on the ball joints so that was typical in the beginning.

I have ALL the defects in one, where it seems most people have 1 or another.

I also forgot about the hard start issue the bad ac compressor and the over heating issue.

If it runs more than 30mintues it wont start and stay running until you let it sit. NO ONE has been able to fidn the issue, ive tried high octane fuel, differant plugs, ect The a/c compressor locked up at 35,000 miles, I have 50 on it now. And if its hotter than 80 degree's outside it runs about 240degree's. Thats WITH the new towing pacakge clutch fan/electric fan combo.

I am fairly certain the amount of warrenty window regulators is what put Chrysler under. When this thing is paid off, I'll be selling it ( if anythign is left of any value), and I will NEVER purchase another chrysler product.

I drive mine without ABS or ESP 24/7/365. And I love it that way. Came that way from the factory, in fact. :D

Perhaps you should rephrase your original statement and say that "your 2007 Jeep Liberty is the worst vehicle you have ever owned."

Don't knock ALL Jeep Libertys. I really would hate to jinx myself, but......2004 Reny. *Knock on wood* Not one gosh darn problem yet (except two blown fuses - which is natural with electronic mods added, and a possible issues due to an aftermarket mod pressing the KJ beyond its max levels) since buying it new in Sept `04

Shhh! Don't want the KJ to know that it is paid off at the end of August! It may intentionally break itself after that so it can get new stuff on it.

YOUR KJ may have been made on a holiday Friday afternoon. You also fall into the 2005-2007 group of KJ's that seem to have more issues than the earlier models (cheaper parts to save costs for a failing company to fail even quicker?).

Kinda funny that they say never buy the first generation of a model because of all the bugs, yet it seems the earliest models of the KJ have the fewest problems.

*KNOCK ON WOOD*

This is strange.

ThunderbirdJunkie has not had any of these problems with his KJ.

Since new, it has eaten:

2 radiators (one was defective...not the KJ's fault...)
one belt
LBJs replaced under recall thrice
one window regulator
shocks/springs (obviously)
two taillights
bulbs
24 spark plugs
front driveshaft
2 hub assemblies (the only thing the big blue machine has had to have replaced as frequently as yours...)
U joints

134k on it now, and runs like a champ. Will keep it until it dies beyond repair, or will be ThunderbirdJunkie's first son's first vehicle...or get crushed, not sure which one will be better for it
