Has anyone done an install instructions/pictorial for installing UCA's? I don't have a garage right now and it's too cold to do the install in the driveway so my wife's mechanic 1/2 brother is going to do the install fro me, but I don't want to have to be there at the time to show him how. Any help is appreciated. |

Not hard to do at all left side remove battery makes it easier front left bolt can be done with a socket and rachet alone rear you need a swivel and extensions, I have done them with extensions clear up near battery location and also done them using the rachet down near the radiator so depends. Only hard part at times doing it yourself is holding them in the right location while starting the bolts back in. Otherwise very easy I think. Well unless you have one like I had on Saturday that had lots of rust/ packed mud etc then it took 20 minutes on the drivers side ![]() |

Thanks guys. I have done it before, but my brother in law wanted to take a look at it before he could determine what was involved, and how much cash he wanted for the labor. Since he lives an hour away, I really didn't want to drive it to his house with a shot ball joint, so that he could take a look, and describing the job in detail over the phone wouldn't have been nearly as effective as sending him a pictorial. Thanks again for pulling through for me. |
