So anyone want to speculate how much further gas price are going to go up before the level off. If they keep up at the current rate I just might need to get myself of the those scions.

the other day i put in $15 which gave me 6.003 gallons.

Diesel is around $2.40 here in KY. $40-$45 per fill-up. But I can run 400+ miles easily on a tank. :D

oaid 2.15 the other day and it took about 12 gallons.

Prices have slowly been going down. I believe the cheapest now is 2.09. I'd rather them go down slowly then not at all...lol. I also try not to let it go too far below half a tank so it doesnt cost my soul to fill it back up.

Been about $2.39 here in the near-outskirts of Chicago lately. Downtown? $2.60.

Yes, that's regular unleaded 87 octane.

Eddo, Dayton is a great place to be from...because it means that you aren't here any longer.....

But in Dayton's defense:
*Wright Bros (Daytonians) invented and perfected powered flight here
*automotive self-starter invented here
*Dayton Electronic Laboratories (Delco) started here
*Hanger 19 ( or 59, depending on your legend) is here containing the bodies of the Roswell aliens ( Wright-Patt AFB)
*The Hulk was born here during a radiation expirement at Wright-Patt ( original 40's comic book version)
*Morgan Quitno rated it the 7th most dangerous city in the country
* I get to leave in 8 years and 6 months when I retire from this stinkin' job

Diesel prices are such a rip. It is an easier product to produce then gasoline, yet they are now charging more than premium gets.. I put about 180,000 miles on a Cummins-powered Dodge that became a Grand Caravan on '03. I am thankful that, back then, diesel was less than regular.

Side note: why do we still call it "regular unleaded, etc..." when "regular leaded" has been gone for nearly 30 years? Old habits die hard.maybe that is why I still wet the bed.......LMAO
