Are there any other KJ's out there besides the CRD and the KK version that have this shudder? Its right at 1500 rpm's and about 45 mph the vehicle starts to shudder unless I get on the gas and bump up the rpms again.

anyone? There is a TSB out there for it but they want to reflash and replace the TC. I am just out of warranty (40,000 miles). I am considering just having the reflash done to see if that fixes it as it has to do with when the TC locks up.

ideas? anyone else? I think the first step is to replace all the trans fluids first and see what that does...

thanks
Joe

If it was first bought after July 26th, 2007, it has a lifetime powertrain warranty.

Never had any issues like that on my 07. Have you checked your fluid level? Dumb question I know, but mine was about 1/2 to 3/4 qt low brand new. I watched dealer tech check and add at new vehicle delivery.

Glad this came up. I am a very happy user/customer of longtalltexan's adapter. The only thing I do not like is the factory stick :banghead: , vague in its readings. I just the other night had it checked the "official" way with a scan tool and the dipstick tool from the dealership. Compared the two and mine is right on. Great product longtalltexan :JEEPIN:
